Snake Guru, LLC was started by a scientist who loves all wildlife, especially snakes. After years of volunteering for the community, we decided it was time to provide professional quality service for a problem the classic ‘pest control’ simply can’t solve. In addition, we realized many people appreciate wildlife the same way we do, except most don’t enjoy having an unexpected encounter with a venomous snake. Snake Guru, LLC is licensed by the Arizona Game & Fish Department to assist with wildlife control related issues related to snakes and other reptiles. Snake Guru was established to promote education & conservation of our local wildlife if/when a human-animal encounter occurs. We help teach you about the wildlife, reasons it may be there, and how to reduce the chances of a similar event happening in the future. Good luck getting anything close to that with the classic exterminator! To wrap things up, working with Snake Guru shows you value wildlife conservation and you are intentionally contributing to the long-term survival of the unique species we are fortunate to live beside.

We strive to be a community leader in providing safe, ethical and humane treatment to all wildlife we are privileged to work with. All animals are promptly released back out into the surrounding environment unless it appears injured or sick. At that point, the Arizona Game & Fish Department and/or a local wildlife rehabilitation facility will be notified, depending on specifics.

Arizona is home to 57 native species of snakes, as well as a handful of nonnative species. Arizona has 13 species of rattlesnakes, all of which are venomous. Only properly trained & professionals licensed by the state should be contacted to assist with snakes, or any other wildlife. Other venomous reptiles of human concern in Arizona include the Sonoran coralsnake and Gila monster. Snake Guru can work with all of them.

Seeing a snake can be scary, but it doesn’t have to be. Snake Guru, LLC is here to support you and enable community-based wildlife conservation. If you have a question, we want to hear from you!

  1. Leave it alone, DO NOT touch it. Keep your eyes on the animal at all times.

IF a snake needs to be removed/relocated, we implement ethical, evidence-based practices. This ensures the best possible outcome for people in the surrounding community, the snake(s), and neighboring wildlife in the surrounding ecosystem.
